Job Description:
They are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
Perform MOT tests (if qualified) and ensure vehicles meet road safety standards.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and software.
Carry out brake, suspension, exhaust, and tyre replacements.
Work efficiently to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
Follow Health and Safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining work carried out and offering professional advice when required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a professional approach.
A valid UK driving licence.
