Telford and Wrekin CMHS provides assessment and evidence-based interventions for people presenting with complex mental health difficulties that significantly impact their daily life alongside our partner organisations.
The successful applicant will need to encourage effective engagement of this cohort of people, utilising excellent communication skills, whilst maintaining compassion and hope through every contact. We are also keen to incorporate a trauma-informed psychological approach which aims to increase people’s independence, working towards an improved quality of life.
There is an emphasis on team-based multi-disciplinary decision making, creating a supportive environment for staff. We value a culture of active service and personal development for all staff.
To work within the Telford and Wrekin adult community mental health service, you will be responsible for:
1. Delivering a high-quality clinical service to patients and their families.
2. Managing a complex caseload.
3. Providing clinical and caseload supervision of other team members where identified.
4. Delivering assessments and interventions in accordance with an agreed care plan to an identified group of people experiencing complex mental health-related difficulties.
