A meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper is required to join our Accounting & Finance team, providing financial support and ensuring our records are up to date. Client Details We are a medium-sized organisation in the Professional Services industry, located in Fareham. Our company prides itself on its strong team culture and commitment to providing high-quality services. Description Maintain and update financial records. Regularly perform data entry tasks in Sage and Xero. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports. Coordinate with the team to complete end of year audits. Handle bookkeeping tasks including invoice processing and expense reports. Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Support other financial projects as needed. Profile A successful Bookkeeper should have: Experience with Sage and Xero accounting software. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. An educational background in Accounting or related field. Job Offer A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £33,000. A generous holiday package of 20 days plus 8 public holidays. A flexible work arrangement with the option to work from home for two days each week.
