Quality Manager

£45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join an established and reputable manufacturing business in Enfield.
As the Quality Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring all quality requirements are met at all stages of production. Managing a small quality team of 4, you will ensure the smooth running of the Quality Department. The Quality Management System is accredited to IATF16949: 2016 and must be maintained in accordance with the IATF16949 Standard.
Quality Manager Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure all inspection procedures and all moulded products conform to customer specifications.
2. Ensure that quality requirements are met at each stage of the production process from APQP to Final Approval.
3. Generate PPAP reports to Levels 1, 2, and 3, Cap studies and ISIRs.
4. Develop various test methods in accordance with customer requirements.
5. Set out training programs, train and develop all Quality personnel under your control.
6. Interface with all component suppliers to ensure that all components conform to control plans laid down by PEP.
7. APQP Planning on all new products introduced to the company.
8. Interface with Customers Program Managers on all aspects of PPAP submissions.
9. Carry out Internal Audits to set schedules in accordance with TS16949 & IS.
10. Ensure that all personnel are fully informed on SPC requirements and control plans for new product launches.
11. Liaise with Customers on all quality concerns raised and deal with all returns and complaints using the approved 8-D approach for all customers.
Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge
1. A background in Quality Management.
2. Understanding of the TS16949 Quality Standard and be able to operate, maintain and review the quality system to the required standard.
3. A proficient understanding of the Environmental Standard ISO 14001.
4. The ideal candidate will have solid attention to detail, with an analytical approach to their work.
5. You will have the ability to manage a small team, including training and ongoing development.
6. A solid communicator, with the ability to interact with all staff, customers, and suppliers.
Benefits, Pay and Working Hours
1. A basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum.
2. 20 days holiday plus bank holiday, rising with each year of service.

5. 8:30 to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
