We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and inspirational Teacher to join our experienced team at this unique provision.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to expand our cohort and further develop our learning provision.
Moat House PRU supports students 14-19 years of age (with a specialism in young parents) to access relevant and aspirational qualifications, mental health and wellbeing support and education. Our welcoming, nurturing approach enables students of all abilities and genders to feel safe and have a sense of belonging, allowing them to re-engage with learning. Moat House has an Ofsted registered Nursery onsite for the babies of our young parent cohort.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, flexible, ‘can do’ Secondary Teacher to join us on a permanent basis who is:
Passionate about the education of young people with additional needs, supporting them to achieve their potential
Committed to making a difference to young people through ensuring the highest standards of provision
Pro-active with flexibility to deliver lessons as required and with resilience for good and bad days
Creative and motivated with the power to inspire students, staff and families
Able to build relationships both with students and colleagues
A willingness to take on additional teaching duties as required
The ideal candidate must have the following:
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
A strong record of raising achievement
An understanding of SEND
High expectations of all learners
Excellent planning and organisational skills
