Machine Operator – Level 2
We have an opportunity for a Machine Operator – Level 2 to join us at Honeywell, in Southend, where you will operate automatic assembly equipment, manually & automatically assemble products, and comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements.
This role is 100% onsite and operates on a weekly shift pattern as follows:
* Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm.
* Week 2: Monday - Thursday 4pm – 12:30am and Friday 2pm – 7pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete first-off quality samples and maintain comprehensive quality documentation in accordance with company procedures.
* Identify areas for improvement and ensure efficient operation of assembly equipment.
* Support assembly and packing processes by feeding components and replenishing materials as needed.
* Participate in improvement teams and initiatives, contributing to waste reduction efforts.
* Be flexible with working hours across different shift patterns and possess the ability to read and understand quality documentation.

* Be conversant with assembly systems and demonstrate self-motivation to work independently using one's initiative.
* Operate within a high-volume production environment, adhering to high standards of quality control.
* Adapt to new working practices and techniques, with a flexible approach and willingness to train to Level 4 standards and other processes.
* Possess strong communication skills to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
