We are currently hiring a Clinical Trainer & Functional Assessor to lead Stage 1 & 2 training sessions delivered by PFAS as directed by the Prime Contract Holder (PCH) and DWP.
Position
As Clinical Trainer & Functional Assessor you will provide an engaging and supportive learning environment, enabling trainees to be successful in training, identify any additional learning needs & implement actions to support, and complete additional training as and when needed.
Part of your role will be to provide full and complete documentation to provide a clear handover to the Clinical Support Job Description Manager, and to carry out detailed Functional assessments and examinations, accurately interpreting and critically analysing all evidence to create a professional and concise report.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
* Candidate must hold one of the following qualifications and have a current and valid registration with the associated governing body without sanction.
1. Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist
2. BSc or Qualified Paramedic
3. Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only)
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Evidence of continuing professional development.
2. 2 years of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional delivering PIP assessment.
3. A broad clinical knowledge base.
4. Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Beneficial but not essential:
1. Previous experience delivering either face to face or virtual training.

Salary: £44,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid (Redhill OR Eastbourne OR Brighton)
Permanent / Full time position
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
