RoleOverview:
As a Building Maintenance Scheduler you will play a crucial role inensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently andon time. You will be responsible for scheduling outstanding workfor a variety of trades coordinating repairs and replacements ofdefective items across our property portfolio. The ideal candidatewill have experience in a building management maintenance companycouncil or housing association environment with a strongunderstanding of scheduling work and diarymanagement.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Scheduleand coordinate maintenance and repair work for various tradesacross a large portfolio of commercial and residentialproperties.
* Manageand prioritise outstanding work orders ensuring timely andefficientcompletion.
* Maintainand update schedules ensuring that all work is accurately loggedandtracked.
* Liaisewith tradespeople tenants and property managers to arrange accessand ensure minimaldisruption.
* Monitorthe progress of ongoing work addressing any delays or issues thatarise.
* Ensureall scheduled work complies with health and safety regulations andcompanypolicies.
* Provideregular updates and reports on work status to seniormanagement.
* Assistwith the coordination of emergency repairs and outofhours work whennecessary.
IdealCandidate:
* Experienceworking within a building management maintenance company councilhousing department or housing associationenvironment.
* Strongunderstanding of scheduling work and diarymanagement.
* Highlyorganised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiessimultaneously.
* Excellentcommunication skills both written andverbal.
* Proficientin using scheduling software andtools.
* Aproactive and solutionoriented approach toproblemsolving.
* Knowledgeof property maintenance and building trades isdesirable.
