Join Our Team as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist!
We are seeking a skilled, forward-thinking, and motivated senior pharmacist to become an integral part of our Clinical Pharmacy team.

• The post holder will be an experienced specialist pharmacist who is responsible for assisting the Pharmacy Team Leader for Medicine & Care of Elderly, in delivering, developing, evaluating and the day-to-day management of clinical pharmacy services to the Medical Division.
• They will provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters, undertaking risk management and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation.
• They will facilitate and support medicines optimisation ‘putting the patient at the centre of their care’ and delivering optimal quality, value and outcomes from medicines use.
• The post holder will participate in clinical audit and practice research in their area of speciality.
• The post holder (where qualified) may also work under this job description as a fully independent pharmacist prescriber in an agreed area of competency to meet the local needs of patients and the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
• The post holder is expected to act as a role model in line with corporate & departmental objectives, NHS plan and the ICB system priorities.
