Field Engineer required for an immediate start Salary – £30-32K Duties to include but not restricted to: • Provide proactive and strategic IT support to allocated clients, addressing all their IT needs and consulting with Senior Leadership Teams (SLT) for improvement. • Develop and produce strategic IT plans tailored to client requirements. • Install and maintain client IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. • Maintain and develop excellent client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. • Handle technical IT support incidents and requests efficiently and effectively. • Liaise with multiple contacts across different departments on-site to ensure seamless IT operations. • Maintaining agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), updating ticket information as you work from diagnostics through to resolution • Liaise with third parties and vendors to resolve incidents with root cause analysis • Perform Incident Management & reporting on complex / large scale issues Technical knowledge of: • Windows OS systems • Managing Active Directory environments and Group Policy • DNS, DHCP, and the TCP/IP suite • WDS, MDT, or other imaging tools (both creating and deploying images) • MIS systems, such as Arbour & Integris Previous Career Experience: • 2-3 years’ experience of a support desk environment, ideally with in an MSP • Microsoft Cloud technologies – eg. Azure, Microsoft 365, Defender for Endpoint • Network software including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP protocols • Back up and replication technologies (Veeam is highly advantageous) • Scripting experience with one of these languages PowerShell, Python, Bash • Desktop as Service such as Microsoft Remote Desktop, VMware Horizon, Azure AVH • VMware & Hyper-V deep troubleshooting • Onsite Experience Benefits: A competitive salary of £30-32K Up to 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays Additional days leave on your birthday Company Van provided ( must have full UK Licence)
