Each of our regions manages unique landscapes, providing essential timber for everyday products and contributing to sustainable land management. We are looking for skilled Forestry Machine Operators to work within a variety of forest environments, assisting with Scotland’s timber production goals. The Operators are responsible for operating machinery for felling and forwarding, maintaining safety and environmental standards, and supporting stock control. Responsibilities Conduct safe tree felling and forwarding operations in clear fell and thinning areas. Follow health, safety, and environmental standards, using site plans and risk assessments. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, working with the workshop as needed. Assist in tracking timber stock levels at roadside and on-site locations. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience working in Forestry with a strong commitment to health and safety and machinery maintenance. Qualifications: FMOCS in Harvesting and Forwarding, full UK driving license, and NPTC 208/209 or equivalent certification. All available locations are detailed within the Job Description.
