What you will do:
1. Manage your own complex caseload while overseeing the team’s caseload, ensuring high-quality standards without direct supervision.
2. Lead and chair team meetings, efficiently planning staffing and workloads.
3. Act as the acute physiotherapy representative at multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, clinics, and various working groups.
4. Provide clinical supervision to students in collaboration with university partners and offer guidance to junior staff members and assistants.
5. Conduct training for new staff members joining the mobility rota.
6. Participate in weekend services following departmental policies.
7. Engage in emergency respiratory duties, including weekend and overnight on-call, post-training and competency achievement.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
* Qualified physiotherapist, i.e., Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
* Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy.
* Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK.
* NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential.
