A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader for a permanent contract on behalf of our client, a dynamic and growing organization based in Stanford le Hope. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily operational goals. Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed, promoting a safe working environment. Monitor stock levels, conducting regular inventory checks and managing stock discrepancies. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, logistics, customer service) to meet business needs. Train, develop, and appraise staff performance, identifying areas for improvement. Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and workflows. Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and initiate maintenance or repairs as needed. Produce regular reports on operational performance and key metrics. Assist in planning labor and resource needs in line with business demands. Requirements: Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or similar role in a warehouse/distribution environment. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control systems. Good understanding of health and safety standards. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in using warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Forklift license/certification (desirable but not essential).
