The Low down:
An exciting opportunity has become available in our Product team. We’re passionate about escapism, connection and the wellbeing of ourselves and our environment. In this position you’ll play a key role in delivering high quality products to our community.
We are looking for a product enthusiast. Someone who is passionate about product creation, development and continuous improvement.
You’ll have a keen understanding of quality assurance and testing methodology with a ‘right first time’ mindset. You’ll understand the competitive landscape and what drives the market dynamics. Above all you’ll have a deep understanding of the what, why and how of building products.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
1. Coordinate testing activities. Work collaboratively across Quality Assurance and Product Development to coordinate all testing activities throughout the development process.
2. Robust testing process. Work with Quality Assurance to implement a robust and consistent testing process.
3. Supplier relationships. Liaise with suppliers to request product testing and track testing progress in line with critical path requirements.
4. Test report organisation. Build and maintain accessible test report trackers per season.
5. External partnerships. Work collaboratively with our external testing partner to ensure relevant testing is completed following the required standards.
6. Wearer Trials. Build and manage a wearer trial process with external partners. Maintain wearer trial feedback and consistently share feedback with the Product team to support continuous improvement of products.
7. Product Risk Assessments. Contribute to product quality risk assessments and root cause analysis.
8. Product Compliance. Contribute towards updating GPSR (General Product Safety Regulations) to ensure EU Product Compliance. Support Quality Assurance Lead with ensuring products and packaging meet in market legislation.
What you will bring:
1. Experience in coordinating and managing product and prototype testing.
2. Proven ability to implement and maintain robust testing processes.
3. Understanding of textile testing methods, machinery and process.
4. Strong understanding of reading and interpreting test results.
5. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Materials, and External Testing Organisations.
6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
7. Proficiency in managing test results and ensuring timely communication with relevant teams.
8. Experience working with performance fabrics would be advantageous.
9. Understanding of EU and US product compliance legislation would be advantageous.
10. Experience of working in a fast moving environment, comfortable working to targets and delivering to deadlines.
11. A passion for product and the community who wears it.
12. Willing and able to travel in the UK and Internationally, we anticipate this will be around 10% of your role.
