Role: Senior Engineer
Location: Almondsbury, Greater Bristol
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package
Our Client:
We are working with a private residential developer, with sites spanning the South West. They are nationally recognised for their sustainability, and currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join their growing team. This particular role is based in their Almondsbury office, with 3 days in the office per week and 2 days working from home.

The Role:
* Prepare pre-purchase appraisals, highlighting development constraints and abnormal costs.
* Monitor and review consultant performance to ensure quality and value-engineered design.
* Support the discharge of planning conditions and building regulations.
* Ensure timely completion of adoption agreements.
* Review consultant designs for practicality, compliance, and value.
* Collaborate with site teams and departments to ensure builds align with plans and gather feedback for future improvements.
* Promote health, safety, and environmental compliance across all activities.
* Drive innovation and support continuous improvement.
* Maintain strong relationships with local authorities to streamline approvals and ensure efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
* Strong experience working in housebuilding or consultancy-based roles, with AutoCAD experience being an advantage.
* Practical experience performing duties typically required in an engineering role.
* Degree-level qualification or HNC/HND in Construction/Engineering or equivalent experience.
* CSCS card or equivalent.
* Full, current UK driving licence.
* Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
* Methodical, organized, and conscientious with a commitment to delivering high standards.
* Quick problem-solving abilities and the ability to address issues effectively.
* Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Proficient IT skills, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems.
