Role: Site Manager Location: Guildford, Surrey Rate: £250 - £300 Per day (Dependant on experience Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 (9.5 hours per day) Duration: 12 Months Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join them on a busy site based in Guildford, off site Highways works. As a Site Manager your duties will be (however not limited to): Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations Ensure works are carried out safely, on time, and to the required quality standards Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and local authorities to ensure smooth site activity Monitor and enforce health & safety regulations and company procedures Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates Liaise with project managers and clients, reporting any delays or issues Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering or highways projects Streetworks (NRSWA) certification - essential EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) categories 3 & 4 - essential CSCS - Essential Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Full UK driving licence If you are interested in this Site Manager position based at Guildford, Surrey, please apply and the team will be in touch.
