An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Human Resources Support Officer (Local Service Delivery)in People & Organisational Development. Location: HQ Carmarthen (with requirement to travel and work from either Aberystwyth or Brecon 2 to 3 times per month) What you will be doing? To support divisional/departmental managers in the effective management of staff, ensuring the people related issues are dealt with in line with Force Policy and best practise. To be responsible for the development and updating of Human Resources document management systems ensuring information can be accessed by colleagues as appropriate. To provide support to line managers dealing with people related issues, including attendance and performance, misconduct (police staff), fairness at work, organisation change and recruitment and selection. Support the Resource Management Group (RMG) ensuring establishment & workforce data accurately reflects local changes. To be accountable for the production of management information enabling effective management decisions to be made.
