This varied technologist role from New Forest Southampton area office for RIBA Chartered Architects practice. This busy boutique local firm operates across a broad range of sectors including heritage, healthcare, commercial, and residential projects.
The Architectural Technologist job itself offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting new projects as well as existing projects across various sectors, including heritage, healthcare, commercial, and residential projects. More specifically:
1. Working closely with project Lead to deliver projects through all RIBA stages from concept to completion.
2. Prepare and develop drawings, visuals, models, images, and other documents related to design.
3. Use Revit / AutoCAD on a daily basis.
4. Coordinating designs with external consultants.
You will have
To be successful as an Architectural Technologist here, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
1. Be competent across all RIBA stages, 1-6.
2. ACIT/MCIAT Qualified.
3. 3 years' plus experience.
4. Proven design, analytical, and technical detail skills.
5. Excellent organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
6. Excellent communication, with a high standard of written and spoken English.
7. Knowledge of both Revit and AutoCAD.
8. Knowledge of UK building regulations.
9. Experience with planning application procedures.
10. Freehand sketching and model-making abilities are also valued highly.
The ideal candidate needs to be flexible and proactive in their approach, be an excellent team player, and have the ability to work on their own initiative.
