The Independent Schools Examinations Board provides rigorous, high-quality examinations and assessments for pupils seeking entry to independent senior schools at 11+ and 13+. The examinations, backed by the leading independent school associations - GSA, IAPS, and HMC - include the Common Pre-Tests, Common Entrance, and Common Academic Scholarship examinations. ISEB has a heritage dating back to 1904, works with the world’s leading prep and senior independent schools and is ambitious to deliver innovation, providing world-leading assessment, accreditation, and admissions products and services for the independent schools’ sector and beyond.
We are looking for an experienced, highly organised, and results-driven Marketing & Sales Manager to promote and sell ISEB’s assessments and qualifications to schools and parents, and to build and nurture relationships with schools. You will be speaking with potential new customers, understanding their assessment requirements, and ensuring that ISEB is their provider of choice. You will work closely with the Head of Qualifications and Head of Delivery to rapidly grow ISEB’s customer base in a repeatable and scalable way.
You’ll be the expert in ISEB’s customers, building relationships with schools’ admissions teams, academic heads and school leaders based on ISEB’s core values: accept, transform, inspire – positioning ISEB as their trusted partner beyond the assessment. You’ll be highly motivated, with a strong desire to find new customers and close deals. You’ll also be highly adept at data reporting, so that all teams can support customers through the customer experience cycle and demonstrate impact.
You will have proven experience and success in a marketing and sales role, and likely you’ll have led admissions in an independent school, being very familiar with the needs of our customers already. You’ll have excellent written and verbal communications skills, be highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction.
The role is full time, 37 hours per week (09:00 to 17:00, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break) although some flexibility will be required. You will be mostly home-based, with a requirement to attend the office in Ringwood at least one day a week, and to visit schools as and when required. Candidates should therefore live within easy commuting distance of Ringwood, Hampshire.
We are a small and friendly team, and offer an attractive package including generous employer pension contributions and holiday allowance, access to a perks & benefits platform, Employee Assistance Programme, and a strong commitment to personal development.
To apply, please email your CV and covering letter to Sasha Stagg, Head of Finance & Business Operations: recruitment@iseb.co.uk
