An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at King Edward VI Nursery, as our Nursery Manager. We have recently extended our Nursery to offer year-round provision and our Toddler Room opened in September and is already at capacity. The Nursery Manager will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and development of our beautiful Nursery which benefits from incredible indoor and outdoor learning spaces – including our own Early Years nature area, Little Meadow.
The Nursery is an integral part of our thriving Prep School, and enjoys the extensive site facilities including forest school, farm, dining room, swimming pool and playing fields. We are looking for someone with great Nursery experience, who will work with us to manage and further develop our Nursery whilst ensuring we retain the independent school feel and quality of provision that we are known for.
King Edward VI Preparatory School is a thriving and happy co-ed independent school for pupils from age 2 to 11, and is the feeder school to King Edward VI, Southampton. The school occupies its own spacious 22-acre site on the outskirts of Romsey and enjoys the many benefits of being part of a through school, whilst retaining a unique identity as a rural nursery and prep school with a nurturing, family feel. We aim to be a beacon of inclusivity, where every pupil and staff member is empowered to achieve their full potential. We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in all areas of our Community and encourage applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
We offer a range of benefits including a competitive contributory pension scheme; generous annual leave of 31 days, rising to 36 days with service (including bank holidays); reduction in school fees at King Edward VI Prep and Senior; free lunch and refreshments, free parking, and a Health Cash Plan.
Do not miss this extraordinary chance to help shape something truly special. We would love to show you around or have an informal conversation, so contact us today to find out more!
