The Sales Teams lead the sale of large and complex opportunities at Accenture in the UK and Ireland across a variety of different industries. It is a dynamic team made up of Sales Origination Leads, Sales capture Leads, Deal Shapers and Bid Managers who lead and support opportunities that often combine the full breadth of Accenture. We work with most of the major clients across many market sectors, as well as working with new players in the industry. Job Summary: The Microsoft Business Group Origination Lead will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and accelerating existing sales within the UKIA market. This involves collaborating closely with various client groups within Accenture and working with Microsoft to create and drive end-to-end transformations. What responsibilities will you have? Engage clients to drive new sales and accelerate existing sales. Lead joint client engagements and account planning with Microsoft. Develop and execute strategies to drive incremental pipeline on strategic initiatives. Collaborate with Accenture and Microsoft client account teams to align on client engagement plans. Drive sales closure and ensure successful client engagements. Focus on origination in net new accounts and existing accounts. What skills & experience are we looking for? Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably within the technology sector. Strong understanding of the UKIA market and its dynamics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Experience in managing client relationships and driving sales growth. Knowledge of Microsoft products and services. Experience in working with cloud technologies and digital transformation projects. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
