Front of House Receptionist & Building Coordinator - Altrincham Manchester The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual for the position of Front of House Receptionist & Building Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors and staff, embodying our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. You will oversee the daily operations of the front desk and ensure that our building is well-maintained and welcoming. You will possess a strong ability to communicate effectively, manage various tasks and maintain a positive environment for all who enter our premises. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues that may arise, along with a keen eye for detail. Main Responsibilities Meeting and greeting staff and visitors to the buildings. Supporting and facilitating events and meetings within the building. Supervision of suppliers and contractors on site. Acting as an information source for general enquiries from staff and visitors. Being the face of the Company/Client for all visitors, to follow a consistent approach at all times and be proactive in dealing with ad hoc client requests which are outside the normal scope of service. Assisting in collating data for monthly reports and KPI figures. Assisting in actioning and resolving queries regarding invoicing, purchase orders, and general accounting. Carrying out basic building management responsibilities including weekly fire alarm tests and basic legionella checks and other health and safety related responsibilities. Assisting with car park management. Performing any other ad hoc duties commensurate with position and salary range. The ideal candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills will include: Previous experience as a front of house receptionist or customer service role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong commitment to delivering exemplary customer service. Strong ability to build rapport and strong working relationships to encourage a supportive working environment. Experience handling difficult customers. Ability to adapt to different priorities quickly and maintain good attention to detail to ensure image and standards are maintained. IT proficiency with an accounting bias preferred. Understanding of basic building management regimes and problems. First aid trained or willing to learn. Confident & well presented.
