We are looking to recruit Sessional Placement Assessors to join our friendly and well-established Childcare/ Early Years and Health and Social Care Department. The role involves preparing our learners to for their placements to give them the best work experience in which they can learn from for the following courses:
· Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development (Early Years Educator)
· T-level in Education and Early Years
· Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care
Within this role, you will be assessing, coaching and mentoring learners whilst they are on work placement in accordance with the success criteria and awarding body requirements, and completing observation documentation in a timely manner. You will provide the learners with constructive feedback and support them with setting up and supporting them to meet their targets.
If successful, you would play a vital role in the College, which is graded as ‘outstanding’ in all categories by Ofsted. Our College excels in providing a broad, inclusive and high-quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector. In 2023, students at Joseph Chamberlain College achieved outstanding exam results.

The hourly rate of pay is £15.42 per hour (the amount includes an element of holiday enhancement).
