Who are we looking for? We are looking for a new Academic Support Officer to join our new Campus Services centre in partnership with University of Hull The role will be on a full-time, permanent basis at the University of Hull London Study Centre. The Academic Support Officer performs a key role in ensuring an excellent student experience and will be actively involved in the student engagement agenda, as well as being a first point of contact with The CEG Operations Team and The University of Hull Student Services Teams The primary function of the post will be to support the administration of the student journey from students receiving their timetables through to results and progression. This involves accurately recording of timetable data, administering of exams and assessments, processing of results and progression outcomes. A key part of the role will be ensuring adherence to a variety of external regulations from the relevant immigration authority (for example UKVI), academic authority (for example QAA) CEG and The University of Hull, in respect of data management. What you will be doing as an Academic Support Officer: To support with inducting students and teaching staff into all academic systems in line with UoH processes. Ensure new staff and leavers are accurately processed in line with UoH and CEG processes. To ensure academic timetables are accurately recorded in line with UoH processes. To action and maintain any changes to timetables in line with UoH processes. To administer and provide students with information about assessments, coursework, formal written exams, and presentations in line with UoH processes. To administer and report on student results in line with UoH and CEG processes. Act as a first point of contact for timetable and assessment related queries. Liaising with colleagues, partners and individuals as required. To provide regular and accurate reports to senior leaders on student attendance.
