Year 1 Class Teacher Position in Westminster
Salary: £40,609 - £50,288 per annum Contract: January 2025 to July 2025 (long-term), with potential for a permanent role starting September 2025.

Responsibilities as a Year 1 Class Teacher
Develop engaging lessons aligned with planned objectives, ensuring differentiation to support student progress.
Collaborate with the parallel teacher for team planning.
Set clear targets based on prior attainment.
Meeting school and national assessment requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress.
Supervise Learning Support Assistants and other classroom helpers.
Participate actively in school duties, including supervising playtimes and leading assemblies.
Requirements for Success in this KS1 Role
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience in UK primary schools, particularly in Key Stage 1.
Strong interpersonal skills.
High standards of professionalism, with the ability to work efficiently within policies and procedures.
