Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Band 5 RMN with prison clearance to join our team. This role involves providing mental health support to individuals in a secure environment, conducting risk assessments, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide mental health assessments and interventions within a prison setting.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Work collaboratively with prison staff and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
* Manage risk and respond effectively to mental health crises.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS and prison guidelines.
Requirements:
✔ NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
✔ Valid Prison Clearance (essential)
✔ Experience in forensic or secure mental health settings (preferred)
✔ Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
