We are currently looking for a Part Time Heritage Engineering Support Officer to assist the Heritage Engineering & Project Delivery Manager to deliver the day-to-day maintenance, care and preservation of Brooklands Museum’s historic aviation, vehicle and large mechanical objects through a range of activities that include their inspection, conservation, handling and movement and to undertake a range of administration activities in support. You will work closely with a range of different individuals within the Museum including the Collections Manager, Interpretation Manager, Property & Estates Manager, Aircraft Technician and the Collections Volunteers so you will need to be able to work well in a team as well as unsupervised. You will have an appropriate qualification or relevant experience in general engineering along with great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload while maintaining a strong attention to detail. You will possess a positive approach and a ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to be flexible and ‘get stuck in’ as needed.
