Job Summary
Are you a receptionist or administrator who is interested in working in the substance misuse sector to help people make positive changes in their lives? This new role is an opportunity to join one of Via’s fully integrated flagship services.
The Role
You will be the ‘first face of the service’, providing a warm and professional welcome to those who use our service, professionals and our local partners and stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate a non-judgemental attitude and an ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds. With strong IT and communication skills, you will be able to manage a busy reception and switchboard and support the service with taking and processing referrals and assessments, correspondence and invoices.
The Service
Via Merton is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub, with additional satellites within the community. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Merton residents, irrespective of circumstance.
Location
The role is based at our Merton hub in Mitcham CR4, but may involve travel to external meetings and to other Via locations as needed.
