About the Role
We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. AGRATAS are a transformational new company in the EV industry. We are seeking a Electronics Hardware Manager to join our highly skilled and dynamic Pack Engineering Team. The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Coventry, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts across all business functions. Reporting to the Head of Core Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of our Battery Pack programmes.
We are seeking an Engineering Manager with broad knowledge of automotive battery technologies, and experience in the embedded electronics design and delivery domains. You will lead the Electronics Hardware function within Pack Engineering and in doing so have overall responsibility for the team and the successful design and delivery of Electronics Hardware commodities. This includes but is not limited to line manager responsibility, capability growth, process development/adherence, compliance, budget responsibility and technical leadership / governance.

Responsibilities
* Leading, developing and growing the Electronics Hardware team
* Ensuring design, validation and delivery of robust, optimised EE commodities on time and on budget
* Providing technical guidance, governance and leadership.
* Personnel, resource, capability and budget management
* Recruitment and talent development within functional area
* Driving continuous improvement, whilst supporting process development and adherence
* Stakeholder / supplier management
* Promoting a collaborative, supportive, ‘can do’ culture
Qualifications
A relevant degree or demonstrable experience in leading electronics design and delivery
Required Skills
* Experience building a high performance electronics team in a well regulated industry (automotive etc)
* Demonstrable experience in design, delivery and signoff of embedded controls hardware within Battery Management Systems / HaV applications
* Strategic planning and resource estimation
* Budget planning and management(CapEx / OpEx)
* Line management and technical guidance / mentorship
* Robust Circuit / PCB / component selection / design methodologies
* Support RFQ / RFI activities
* Product lifecycle management
* Familiarity Functional Safety (ISO61508 / ISO26262 or equivalent)
* Familiarity with cybersecurity process / standards (ISO21434)
* Systems engineering V-model and ASPICE
* Working with and leading distributed / cross-functional teams
* Technical customer / supplier management
* APQP / PPAP
