The Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their dynamic audit team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile clients across a range of industries, including financial services, retail, manufacturing, and more. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end audit process, leading teams, and delivering high-quality audits in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: Leading Audits: Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and on time. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, and providing insights on business and financial issues. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth within the firm. Financial Reporting: Review financial statements and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting frameworks. Business Development: Assist with the identification of new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm's audit practice. Quality Control: Ensure the firm's audit methodology and risk management policies are adhered to and lead by example in maintaining high standards of quality and service delivery. Skills & Experience Required: ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with strong technical knowledge of auditing, accounting, and financial reporting. Previous experience in audit management within a practice environment, ideally with exposure to large and complex clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels. Experience in managing and developing teams, with a hands-on approach to coaching and mentoring. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications. A proactive and client-focused approach, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
