Job Title Field Service Engineer Location(s) Mansfield (Solus), United Kingdom - Remote Purpose The Field Service Engineer will provide technical service and support to Solus Scientific customers on all Solus DS2 diagnostic instrumentation across UK. This is a field-based role so candidates based in central England would be ideally suited to cover the territory Responsibilities Provide remote technical support, including troubleshooting to the Solus customer base. Provide technical onsite support, breakdown and preventative maintenance to Solus customer base. Carry out company related tasks requested by the senior engineer or senior management. Install and relocate diagnostic instrumentation when required. Upgrade instrument software, firmware and hardware when required. Maintain and audit personal stock levels and perform month end department stock control. Attend training courses, both in-house and at manufacturer sites. Perform module repairs in the Solus workshop or arrange for repair with manufacture. Check and commission new and reconditioned DS2’s for shipment.
