As a Product Team Lead at Cambridge Intelligence, you’ll manage and develop a growing team of talented product professionals and enjoy driving the product development process.
This is a part time 6 month fixed term contract - 3 days per week based in our central Cambridge office.
What’s involved?
You’ll actively manage the product team - ensuring that the team is fully utilised and direct reports have goals in place that maximise their professional development. You’ll enjoy owning and driving the product process for your team, providing guidance on a team and individual level. You’ll support the product team by facilitating, enabling and unblocking, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
Who’s the ideal candidate?
You’ll have proven experience of managing a development OR product team, and possess a balance of technical competence and strong people management and communication skills.
You’ll have a proactive management style, driving enthusiasm within the team and spotting potential problems before they arise. You might also have:
* A technical background - a deep understanding of the code and architecture is not required, but a high level appreciation will be necessary in order to recognise dependencies and blocking factors. Our tech stack is TypeScript, JavaScript and React
* Experience leading and supporting continued career development and providing guidance on professional development plans.
Who you’ll work with
Reporting to the Head of Product, your team consists of three Product Managers who have responsibility for our commercial product lines, and who bring the voice of the customer to our four software development teams. You’ll also work closely with our 4 Development Managers and our Head of Development, to ensure the product management process is working smoothly.
