As an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO), you'll do exactly that, by creating bespoke industry work placement opportunities for your students. Securing and monitoring work placements for students in variety of areas is just the start. As the main point of contact with employers, you’ll also plan and implement suitable events and visits for students. Given your knowledge and experience working with young people, it will be essential to engage with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to assess their skills and provide the support needed for their development, ensuring they are able to successfully complete a work placement. This will be paid equally in twelve-monthly salary payments About You We are seeking to appoint an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO) who has excellent interpersonal skills and who possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will be highly organised and be able to prioritise work whilst applying a flexible and responsive approach to work demands. You will have: strong attention to detail ability to work independently and take initiative collaborative team player inquisitive and analytical approach to work A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject is desirable, alternatively experience of working in a relevant sector and a willingness to obtain a relevant level 3 qualification will be considered.
