Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manager to lead our Systems, Improvement and Recruitment teams. This vital role will sit within Xentrall Shared Services HR and Payroll team, here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
Xentrall Shared Services is a very successful partnership between Stockton-on-Tees and Darlington Borough Councils. We also provide our services to other customers, including Schools and Academies across the Tees Valley.
This is an exciting new role and opportunity within Xentrall Shared Services to achieve continuous system development, which will improve and support our internal teams’ processes and performance, as well as benefiting our councils, system users and external customers.
We are looking for someone with ambition and drive to grasp and grow this new role within our structure. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver on improvement opportunities across the wider team and enhance our customer service desk. In addition, you will manage the provision of our Recruitment service to ensure a high quality, efficient service to our customers.
You will be working across our service, promoting customer focus to meet the needs of customers and build good relationships. You will support system users to ensure smooth running of the service and assist with introducing new business opportunities to the service.
In this role, you will manage a medium-term system development programme and a service improvement plan. You will be responsible for planning the implementation of software releases from the software supplier and developing user acceptance testing to include new functionality.
You will manage the development of a data quality framework to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of data. You will also manage the provision of workforce data and information to all Xentrall Customers, with the introduction of data warehouses and a dashboard of real time information.
We are keen to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
* Experience of leading and coordinating a large team in improvement projects and system development.
* Strong IT skills including SQL, system integrations and Power BI.
* Excellent customer service skills and experience.
* Experience in ensuring system security, change control and audit trail procedures are considered.
* Experience in HR, Payroll or ICT related roles or systems.
