\n\nThis very successful construction consultancy firm is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Wales. You will be working on a range of high-profile projects across the infrastructure sector including highways, rail, energy, aviation and more! \n\nIf you are looking to work on projects that will have an impact, this is the role for you.
If you are looking for the opportunity to work in a supportive team, with flexible working and great training and development programmes in place you can ensure this company will support you in achieving your goals. \n\nResponsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: \n\nManage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties for infrastructure projects.\nAdminister NEC contracts and manage commercial aspects effectively.\nPrepare procurement documents and ITT (Invitation to Tender) packages.\nLead medium-sized projects with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and cost control.\nMentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.\nEngage with stakeholders and clients to build strong professional relationships.\nUtilize your knowledge of construction techniques, standard methods of measurement, and Microsoft software.Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: \n\nA degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or an equivalent qualification.\nChartered status or working towards it (RICS, CIOB, or similar).\nProven experience in the infrastructure sector with strong commercial acumen.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nA proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for sustainable, cost-effective solutions.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
