Rural Surveyor - Shropshire
Beach Baker are recruiting for an ambitious, RICS qualified Rural Surveyor in Shrewsbury office to take on a varied role with a wide range of professional work. You will have the opportunity to become an integral part of the business within a highly motivated team with significant career progression opportunities.
About the role
1. Areas of professional work will include assisting with the provision of advice to landowners regarding maximising value of their land through option and promotion agreements
2. Providing tenancy advice to both landlords and tenants, as well as property and estate management
3. Undertaking Property Valuations on behalf of banks and other lending institutions; mainly related to the rural environment and will include residential and commercial elements
4. Assisting in sales and lettings of property, largely development and rural sales.
5. Compensation claims, grants and subsides and joint ventures
6. Identifying new business opportunities and promoting the brand throughout the region
7. Managing and developing client relationships (new and existing)
8. Supporting delivery of the business plan including delivery of agreed targets
9. Liaising with contractors, clients and colleagues
10. Assisting in the delivery of agreed financial targets and being responsible for managing own performance whilst exceeding in core technical skills
About you
11. RICS qualification with at least 2+ years PQE (ideally)
12. Proven track record professionally
13. A practical understanding of property, land, business and agriculture
14. Ability and confidence in dealing with clients in a professional manner
15. Ability to work in a team and independently and use initiative
16. A very self-motivated individual
17. Strong written and verbal communication skills
18. Strong IT capability
