WA is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Financial Reporting Controls Lead. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead financial reporting, compliance, and control processes in a complex and evolving environment.

This role is based in Edinburgh and will operate on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities:
\n\n
\n\t
* Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
\n\t
* Manage external audit processes and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
\n\t
* Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
\n\t
* Develop and enhance financial controls, ensuring strong governance across the organization.
\n\t
* Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury functions, and risk management strategies.
\n\t
* Provide technical accounting advice and support to senior leadership.
\n\t
* Manage and develop a finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

About You:
\n\n
\n\t
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
\n\t
* Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in financial reporting and compliance.
\n\t
* Experience in managing external audits and liaising with auditors.
\n\t
* Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
\n\t
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive financial process improvements.
