As
a Goods Receiver at The Other House, your role involves meticulously overseeing receiving and
storage of all deliveries, ranging from food to non-food items, in strict
adherence to Health & Safety regulations and brand standard policies.
Collaborating
closely with all Heads of Departments, you'll be entrusted
with the task of receiving and appropriately distributing goods for all
departments. Your duties encompass a thorough inspection of deliveries,
encompassing quality, prices, weights, and specifications, to ensure compliance
with our stringent requirements. Any discrepancies identified during
this process will be promptly reported to the correct Head of Department and
the General Manager.
In
addition to your core responsibilities, you will play a crucial role
in maintaining the organizational integrity and cleanliness of
designated areas, including walk-in fridges, dry storage, and corridors. Your
commitment to excellence ensures that The Other House upholds the highest
standards in the reception, storage, and distribution of goods, contributing to
the overall efficiency and quality of our operations.
You:
* Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and cost of sales.
* Attention to detail.
* Knowledge of financial processes.
* Intermediate Excel skills and experience working with complex data sets.
* Experience in Manual Lifting and labour
