About the job
As part of the Remanufacture Compressor Team, you will be responsible for the strip down, assessment, build, and test of both Scroll and Commercial Compressors.
Main Responsibilities
* Dismantling of Compressors ensuring all components are assessed and where appropriate refurbished to meet required standards.
* Prepare required parts list for each compressor build.
* Re-assemble Scroll & Commercial Compressors in line with approved procedures.
* Weld Scrolls to required standards (certification required to meet standard – in house training and subsequent 3rd party testing).
* Pressure test compressors using leak detection.
* Spray Compressors to customer’s requirements ensuring paint finish is to required standards.
* Label compressors as required and where appropriate complete despatch instructions.
* Adhere to H&S requirements involved in work undertaken.
Required Experience
* Experience in Mechanical Engineering and basic Welding practices.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
* General IT Skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
* Yearly bonus.
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday.
* Overtime.
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Rossington, South Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
Experience:
* Fitting: 2 years (preferred).

* United Kingdom (required).
