The Corporate Reporting & Planning Team have a unique and interesting role in the management and reporting of the overall Health Board's financial position, annual plan and budget position, and work closely with all teams across the Finance function. Main duties of the job As the Finance Analyst, you will be a central point of contact for the Corporate Reporting & Planning team and key responsibilities include: Preparing monthly financial reporting outputs right first time with supporting commentary. The management and reconciliation of key central Corporate Reporting budget components. Analytical review and management of large datasets. Key skills relating to the role include: Extensive experience of working with Microsoft Excel. Exposure to Financial Systems. Strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. You will be required to support in the process improvement agenda, looking for efficiencies within the team. You will be a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills who pays high attention to detail and has the ability to become familiar with new information quickly. As a key link and central contact between various departments within Finance, it is essential you are an effective communicator.
