Overview:
An exciting new opportunity to join a well-established Groundworks and Civil Engineering company specializing in the Highway, Rail, and Airport sectors and operating across the South of England. The role offers a large scope for career progression and personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civils & Groundworks, the ability to oversee day-to-day duties on site, and manage project programmes while visiting various sites and liaising with clients in a mixture of office and site-based work.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with managing projects (programme, H&S, quality)
* Visiting various sites or could be based on one larger project
* Daily liaison with clients
* Daily liaison with site foreman
* Assisting in resolving daily project issues
* Liaising with Quantity Surveyor
* RAMS
* Lift plans
* Project programmes
* Lookahead programmes
* ITPs
* Monitoring site progress
* Meetings
* Resource management / planning
* Material call-offs
* Material reconciliations
* Record keeping
* Assisting with tenders
* General project administration
Requirements:
* Site experience
* Subcontractor or main contractor experience in the UK
* CSCS
* SSSTS / SMSTS (training can be provided)
* Clean driving licence
* Good communication skills
* Ability to produce programmes
