Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London’s greenest boroughs. Here you’ll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.
Role Description:
In this role you will be part of the Center of Excellence for economic sanctions monitoring and therefore part of Global Payment Operations (GPO). GPO is the central hub for Bank of America in establishing, servicing, supporting and monitoring two of the most widely used electronic payment processing vehicles – Wire and ACH – in the financial services arena worldwide.
In this role you will also investigate Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) alerts for both domestic and international consumer, commercial and wholesale bank businesses or services functions.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with coordination of implementation for products, services, and operational solutions.
* Support the design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services.
* Provide guidance regarding procedural, technical, and operational changes.
* Expand business products knowledge within operations environment.
* Build network by developing relationships with partners and teammates.
* Inspect data to identify issues and trends.
* Collect and interpret data to validate operational processes.
What we are looking for:
* Analytical mindset and detail oriented.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Excellent computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
Skills that will help (optional):
* Previous Economic Sanctions, AML, Wire Transaction and/or previous Compliance experience highly desired.
* Striving to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions.
* Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change will be advantageous.
