Murray Recruitment are recruiting an HR Advisor for our client. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role in shaping and supporting a positive workplace culture. The role involves working closely with employees at all levels, ensuring that people-related policies and practices are implemented fairly and transparently.
Overview
The HR Advisor will be responsible for delivering HR policies and procedures, supporting leadership teams, and ensuring a consistent and fair approach to employee relations. This role offers a varied workload, with involvement in coaching, employee engagement, recruitment, and performance management. Strong relationship-building skills will be essential to drive HR solutions that align with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve, implement, and administer HR policies and procedures.
Coach leaders to develop competence and confidence in HR practices.
Ensure fair and consistent implementation of performance management, recruitment, absence management, and disciplinary procedures.
Support managers and Occupational Health in managing long-term and short-term absences.
Handle employee complaints and disciplinary procedures.
Create and promote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
Contribute to cross-functional project teams as required.
Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies to ensure efficient recruitment.
Maintain and share standard operating procedures (SOPs) on Teams and SharePoint.
Work collaboratively with HR, Payroll, and Training teams, contributing to team meetings and updates.
Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in case management and investigations.
Strong judgement and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and organise workload effectively.
Experience in recruitment and onboarding at various levels.
Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and regulations.
Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of discretion and professionalism.
Desirable: Higher education qualification or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
Willing to be on-site for a minimum of two days per week, including overnight stays as required.
