About the Role
We are looking for talented and motivated engineers to work on expanding our platform to new cloud providers and data warehouses. This role is a software development (Individual Contributor) role and will involve writing code that integrates with major cloud provider and data warehouse APIs while running as part of our existing Kubernetes hosted microservice-based platform.
We are looking for people with a focus on continuous delivery and a desire to deliver incremental value to production. This is a technically complex project and will require the ability to work across multiple cloud providers and multiple languages to deliver the end-to-end solution.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:
* Go / Python / Java
* Cloud provider API integration (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Communication protocols such as HTTP and gRPC
* Kubernetes hosted microservices
* Docker
* SQL
You will have at least 8 years of professional software development experience and be eligible to work in the UK with either weekly or monthly visits to the Basingstoke office, depending on location.
In addition, it would be advantageous to the candidate to have experience with the following technologies:
* Experience with Spark (AWS Glue)
* Snowflake Native Applications or AWS Marketplace solutions.
* Experience using Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs)
* Kafka
* Automated cloud infrastructure provisioning
* Basic understanding of encryption protocols
