Acland Burghley School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Drama from September 2025, to join our friendly and successful Performing Arts team.
This is an excellent career opportunity for a strong teacher to work in a thriving city comprehensive which has inclusion at its core. You would be joining at an exciting moment for the school. Our campaign to transform our grade 2 listed assembly hall into a versatile modern performance space is well underway. Our unique partnership with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, who have their offices and rehearsals on our site, places Performing Arts at the centre of our curriculum vision.
Drama is a popular subject at Acland Burghley School. You would be joining a friendly, vibrant team of Drama specialists working closely alongside our Dance and Music teams. We are looking for a well-qualified Drama specialist who is keen to play a major part in leading and directing school performances, and who has an interest in taking our extra-curricular offer to the next level. The post would be suitable for an ECT or for a more experienced colleague looking to develop their career in a new setting.
