We are on the lookout for a Facilities/Maintenance Manager to join a very well-established company based in Ware.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them. This includes managing building maintenance, safety, and security, as well as coordinating with external contractors and service providers.
Duties Include
1. Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
2. Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment.
3. Perform due diligence on service providers to ensure best service & contract terms.
4. Manage existing contractors & service providers.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Coordinate with external contractors, Completing RAMS and ensuring they comply with UK regulations & standards.
7. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
8. Conduct regular risk assessments & safety audits to identity and mitigate potential hazards alongside the H&S Manager.
9. Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment warranties.
10. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
11. Assist with energy-saving measures and sustainability initiatives.
