Job Summary
As the Project Management Officer for Mental Health Matters, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and management of the project. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution, and fostering collaboration throughout the organization. Strong communication skills, a proven track record in project implementation, and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential for success in this position.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Leadership & Coordination: Effectively manage all aspects of the Mental Health Matters project, ensuring timelines, goals, and budgets are met. Facilitate coordination among team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment and focus.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and community members. Ensure open lines of communication to foster collaboration and address any concerns promptly.
3. Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, to convey project goals, updates, and outcomes clearly and persuasively to all audiences.
4. Project Implementation Experience: Leverage your experience in successfully implementing projects within organizations to navigate challenges and drive the Mental Health Matters initiative from concept to reality.
5. Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy: Actively promote an inclusive environment within the project. Ensure diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making and that the project reflects the needs of a broad range of individuals.
6. Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Anticipate and address potential obstacles with creative solutions, adapting to changes as needed to keep the project on track.
