Job summary We are currently looking for a HCPC registered experienced Biomedical Scientist delivering specialist Cellular Pathology services which contribute to the diagnosis, treatment and clinical care of the patient. Main duties of the job This role entails assisting with the specimen throughout in all areas of the department to contribute to a high quality, accurate and timely service to service users and patients. The post holder would need to have had diagnostic laboratory experience within a hospital laboratory. They will need to be able to cut 25 blocks per hour from a range of specimens & ideally also able to cut levels. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday.
