We are recruiting for an experienced Instrument Technician for an Aviation and Aerospace engineering company in Ferndown, Dorset.
About the role
To diagnose, test, and repair a wide range of aircraft instruments, ancillary light systems, and galley equipment as assigned by the Operations Manager or Workshop Supervisor in accordance with the relevant approved technical data provided by the company.
Qualifications: ONC/D Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
Requirements
1. Diagnose, test, and repair a wide range of aircraft instruments, ancillary light systems, and galley equipment.
2. Test in accordance with defined test schedule/instructions.
3. Use business systems to record product history/compliance.
4. Have practical 'hands-on' test, diagnostic, and measurement experience using a wide range of equipment.
5. Demonstrate evidence of good organization, planning, and execution of work.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm
Salary: negotiable, based on relevant experience
