Job summary Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic RCEM EM Advanced Clinical Practitioner to lead the team of ACP's working within the ED of the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The successful candidate will be have extensive experience working in the ED and will be able to work as a clinician in all areas of the ED (Majors, Resus, Paediatrics, MIU). The Lead ACP will possess proven leadership skills and will be responsible for the recruitment and development of ED ACPs and trainee ACP's. The Lead ACP will be supported to work collaboratively with the ED Senior team and the ED consultants. This is a fantastic opportunity to facilitate the standardisation of ACP roles within ED playing a lead role in the strategic development and evaluation of advanced clinical practice. Main duties of the job The post holder will be essential in the leadership of EM ACP's and trainee ACPs. Supporting the Clinical Director, EM Consultants, Senior Nurse and Department Manager the post holder will take responsibility for the development of the ACP team ensuring expert guidance and training is provided. The post holder will work across the 4 pillars of Advanced practice and the job plan will support this with dedicated non-clinical time.
